Communication
All communication regarding the order will be via email. Phone calls are for appointment enquiries and are subjected to our availability.
Collection Methods & Appointment
Collection methods available are via self-pickup or delivery services. For deliveries, full payment and order confirmation is required 7 days ahead of the scheduled drop-off date. Every customer is responsible in managing their own appointments and shall notify us of any changes. We will not be liable for missed appointments.
After Hours Service Charge
There will be a service charge of RM 20/per half an hour we open the storage outside of our operating hours.
Rental Holding Period
The standard rental holding period is 5 days. Extensions must be requested during booking. A late return penalty will be incurred if the rental item is returned after the confirmed return date as stated in the invoice.
Late Returns
If you have not contacted us to confirm a changed returns date, we will deduct 20% of the security deposit for every day the rentals have not been returned.
Bookings & Payment
Reservations will only be confirmed upon payment of the booking deposit via transfer/deposit into our accounts. The booking deposit must be made within 48 hours after availability is confirmed.
Deposits
Booking Deposit: 50% of rental total for early birds; full rental total for orders made one month or less from pick-up. Non-refundable except if item becomes unavailable due to loss or damage.
Balance Payment: Required one week before pick-up date (for early birds).
Security Deposit: Fully refundable upon safe return. May be paid in cash upon pick-up or via online transfer. Transfer-back within 3 business days after returns.
Paperwork
All quotations, invoices, and receipts are done digitally via email. A rental agreement is required to be signed during pick-up or drop-off. Valid identification must be presented; failure to do so will result in the rentals not being released and no refund of the rental total.
Cleaning Fees
We impose a cleaning fee if rental items returned require cleaning. Items should be returned in the same or similar state as at pick-up. Cleaning fees (if applicable) are taken from the security deposit.
Damages or Loss
We encourage inspection during pick-up. The renter is liable for any damages or loss during the entire rental period. Damages/loss costs exceeding the security deposit entitle the OWNER to claim the full market value of the item.
Indemnification for Representative
The representative accepts the terms & conditions on the Renter's behalf. Please provide representatives with a copy of the invoice. Any damages or loss while rentals are in the hands of the representative will be taken out of the security deposit paid by the Renter.
Our Rights to Refuse Service
SNK Event Rental has the right to refuse service to any customer who refuses to adhere to our terms. A full refund will be given if payments were made.
Others
Add-ons are allowed based on availability. Changes to confirmed bookings will not be refunded, but you may swap with available stock of equal or lesser value. All items must be returned in the conditions as collected, including wrapping. We are a DIY equipment rental provider; after pick-up support is subject to availability.
